In answer to your tutor's question, in the old, localized economy there once were many places in the world where one simply could not buy oxygen. The only oxygen in those backward nations of the earth was available in vast quantities at no cost. Now, thanks to the cooperative efforts of banks and multinational corporations operating for profit, oxygen is available for import to every country on earth.
