Chinwatching

Former US Vice-President Al Gore has lately been seen wearing a beard. According to the mob of flat-earthers who presume to instruct us on public affairs, he has “grown it since losing the Presidential election.”

But is it not at least as likely that he had it all along, concealed under a fiendishly cunning latex chin-wig, but didn’t dare show it in public in case people thought he was “liberal”?

Alternatively, could it not have been forcibly implanted against his wish, perhaps by aliens who needed a sort of bristly playground where their sinister larvae could frolic undetected?
